River Lim - Before & After
Through the city of Bijelo Polje, in the north of Montenegro, flows the river Lim. Although a lot lower than in the summer, there is still a strong burble coming from the water which splashes of several frozen rocks visible just above the surface. It was a beautiful sight. The river, hills and mountain Bjelasica far back were all under a cover of dense fog. The river itself appeared as if it was steaming in the cold winter. It was so cold that I didn’t even care to take my camera out of the trunk of the car. Sometimes a smartphone can do just fine. The picture was edited in Snapseed (Android/iOS). I used their HDR filter (twice), did lots of contrast tuning, and then again did some more tuning with the Instagram tools before posting. That’s basically it.
